Comic Cover Showcase Challenges

Announced on 3/22/22 – these challenges ask you to use the new Showcase feature to show off a collection of 8 unique Godzilla Comic Covers for exciting new NFT rewards.

The deadline to have a showcase set & ready is April 18th, 2022 at 1PM ET

Challenge A – Godzilla Cover Band

Create a showcase of ANY 8 UNIQUE Godzilla Comic Covers

For all the hardcore collectors, there is a second, more difficult version of the challenge that will reap additional reward NFTs…

Challenge B - Blue Oyster Cult

Create a showcase of 8 UNIQUE Godzilla Comic Covers with a rarity of ‘RARE’ OR BETTER

Challenge Details & FAQs

  • Comic Covers can be from any Godzilla branded ToppsNFTs collection:
  • “different” simply means “no duplicates” – each of the 8 NFTs must have a different name/rarity/color combination from any other in the showcase.
    • e.g. you can have both Uncommon and Rare versions of the “Kaiju Thunderstorm” covers in the same showcase
    • e.g. you can have both the Cyan and Magenta versions of the “Kaiju Thunderstorm” covers in the same showcase
  • Limit one showcase per user – making multiple valid showcases in different showcase slots will NOT result in multiple rewards
  • Only one showcase needed – Collectors who create a valid Challenge B showcase will automatically complete the Challenge A requirements
  • Qualifying showcases must be present and ready in your profile at the Deadline date & time
  • “Rare or better” rarities are: Rare, Super Rare, Epic and Legendary 
  • Qualifying showcase can be placed in any 1 of the 3 available showcase slots

Pack Slashing Challenge

Announced on 4/13/22 – a whole new TYPE of challenge that calls for collectors to OPEN sealed Godzilla brand NFTs on ToppsNFTs.com

Open a total of 5 or more packs from the ANY Godzilla branded ToppsNFTs collection

Yes. Having a Green Apple Gigan Toppsicle in your collection at the deadline will count towards your Toppsicle total for these challenges.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have the Toppsicle in your collection – NOT sealed in a pack – in order for it to count towards the total.

The foil-wrapped corn cob is rendition of the cult-classic prop from the Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972) movie! 

Protagonist Shosaku Takasugi hilariously uses a corn cob as a fake gun to get key information needed to save the world!
